Project ICAN/SEMEAR 2022


"It was a privilege to have the opportunity to learn English with ICAN during 2022. Not only because of pedagogic content focus on each student, but also the knowledge learned and the exchange of knowledge among different areas of studies . All classes had a great impact  for my progress in English.  With varieties of class formats they became much more interesting and dynamic than the regular expositive English classes I was used to experienced before.

"The opportunity to take classes at ICAN came to me through the Semear Project. At first, the idea was to improve my pronunciation and lose my shame of speaking in English, a goal achieved and expanded. The ICAN method, with small groups, usually with areas of interest and focus in common, are very efficient. I felt safe with my group, where we have evolved a lot together. Reading, pronunciation, and thinking in another language progressed through teamwork and dedication according to our routine, which in the case of our classes are intense and exciting.

The work really forms seeds, and once again brought me the perspective that no seed of education planted fails to bear fruit. We are witnesses."
